小鹿斑比2-Bambi II
是【小鹿斑比】的延伸作品，故事則是設定在 Bambi
失去母親之後與長大之前，
其實有參考當初【小鹿斑比】電影製作時，
華特迪士尼和當年動畫家討論劇情時的原始紀錄，在原來的電影中，
由於獵人無情的獵
槍，Bambi
在大雪紛飛的季節成了孤苦無依的孤兒，
他遇到鹿群領導者 Great Prince（其實就是 Bambi 的父親），帶著 Bambi
進入森林深處，
之後在電影下一幕中，就冬盡春來 Bambi 長大了。
本片就是重回 Bambi 隨著 Great Prince
進入森林後的故事，
描述
Bambi 歷經喪母傷痛之後的成長故事。
雖然跟著 Great Prince 開始展開新生活，但懷抱著心靈創痛的小鹿
Bambi ，
對於母親的死無法釋懷，又十分希望能獲得父親的認同。
另一方面， Great
Prince 面對自己的兒子，一開始也不知道該如何照顧他，
只希望能帶領 Bambi
走出悲傷，重拾對生命的希望與熱情。
他們的父子關係從陌生到熟悉，就如同季節一般，逐漸冬去春來。
